Coaching brings awareness to your habits, helps you set goals, and create action steps that support your intentions. In coaching you’ll uncover unhelpful lifestyle and mindset patterns and make new decisions. You’ll receive accountability to your carefully-crafted goals. Coaching helps improve intentionality. The goal of coaching is for you make a habit of self-reflection and making mindful choices so you’ll continue to heal and grow long after your program is through.
We believe everyone can do and be better. Whether you are new to making healthier choices or are already fully immersed into health and wellness, coaching is for you. Taking a holistic approach, we’ll look at many areas of life that impact health and wellbeing. Recommendations are tailored to the individual. At Mind and Body Health Coaching, we believe in bio-individuality— that no two people are the same, and what works for someone might not work for another. We believe you know yourself best. We are here to provide structure, education and accountability while you set your own goals and pace. We will work together to create action steps that genuinely support you and your specific situation.
At MBHC coaching provides transformation, not just information. Through coaching you
will:
-Increase awareness, clarity and focus
-Make intentional decisions, set personalized goals; create obtainable action steps
-Receive gentle accountability
-Learn to show up for and stretch yourself consistently for growth and healing
-Slow down to maintain life-balance
-Form better habits for improved physical health
-Improve your mindset, reduce your stress level, improve your mental health
-Find peace and contentment with your decisions
It takes work to reflect, increase intentionality, and to make more mindful decisions, but we will help you do it in a way that replaces overwhelm with peace. We prefer a gentle approach to help you build habits that will become a lifestyle. You will set your own goals and actions steps with our guidance, so you can take on as much or as little as you feel makes sense for your situation. However small your action steps are, we expect consistency and determination.
At Mind and Body Health Coaching we provide transformation, not just information. We emphasize the importance of the client’s ability to maintain his/her own health. We recognize the diversity in every person’s situation. No two people will have the same goals or action steps. We help people to become self-aware and intuitive so each decision made is purposeful. We present clients with a wide variety of educational holistic health information. We ask intentional questions to help clients reflect on the
direction they want to go, why they want to, and how they’ll get there. We provide
accountability. We teach clients to continually reassess their level of satisfaction with areas of life that impact well-being to maintain balance. We help people shed
overwhelm and perfectionism and instead, fall into a comfortable, practical rhythm.
We care to be mindful of clients' stress levels when taking on big lifestyle and mindset changes. The process of healing should not include added stress.
The mind and body are connected. Both physical and mental health are equally important. Stress is the most underrated epidemic. I am passionate about stress relief because studies show that up to 90% of doctor visits are for stress-related conditions. Our medical system tends to treat health problems in an isolated way. If the underlying cause (likely stress) was treated, health conditions like hypertension, diabetes, or digestive issues could have been prevented.
The most successful clients are:
Willing: willing to let go of habits that do not serve personal growth; determined to heal; willing to stretch oneself for self-improvement; open to coach’s recommendations
Coachable: honest, open, willing to dig deep, answers questions thoughtfully
Committed: fosters “progress over perfection mindset;” recognizes there is not an
overnight solution to lifestyle change; continually reassessing what is working and
what’s not; diligent with sessions and action on recommendations
