Welcome, I'm Laura Andors, founder of Mind & Body Health Coaching!

It's nice to meet you! 👋 I am excited to start this blog and to share more tips on stress-relief! Here are some fun facts about me:

☀️ I get my strength from Jesus.

☀️ Serving others is a passion of mine.

☀️ I'm married and have three young kids who I am homeschooling this year.

☀️ I love essential oils, herbal tea, plants, yoga, dance and higher intensity work outs.

☀️ I use 100% nontoxic products and make a lot of my own products.

☀️ I am passionate about treading lightly on the Earth by being minimalistic and eco-friendly.

☀️ I eat vegan, but recognize that's not right for everyone.

☀️ We have a big garden and try to grow as much as we can at home.

☀️ I brew kombucha

So...what is a health coach?

A holistic health coach is a guide to help one navigate through health-related challenges. Some people come with a relatively healthy lifestyle and want support taking a preventative approach, and some come with more complex challenges such as tackling digestive issues. There are many preventable, and even reversible conditions these days that can be remedied by lifestyle choices. Unfortunately, this is often overlooked in the medical field. Health coaches are here to bridge the gap!

Why focus on stress management?

My focus is on stress management because the society we have created makes it hard to find time to take care of ourselves. I believe that high stress levels can have a severe impact on one's mental, emotional, and physical health. This is where "holistic" comes in. I understand that each person is a whole being, and their relationships, career, spirituality, exercise, and diet each play a role in their overall health.
